Hot Stabs

Hot stabs are used in subsea intervention to connect and disconnect two equipment hydraulically. Typically an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) will approach a subsea structure and connect to it with a hot stab, to perform routine operations or various tasks such as fluid transfer or pressure testing applications.

Technicas has almost two decades of experience with hot stabs and can meet any special requirements for various applications.

Technicas hot stabs and receptacles are rated to 690 bar (10,000 psi) and are designed and manufactured to ISO 13628-8 (API 17D and API 17H) standards. These are tested and certified before shipping and come with options of standard or high flow with single, dual or quad port stabs.

Standard D handles are provided, but can come with T or fish tail handles as well. Optional features such as integrated check valves can be provided based on customer requirements.
