Docking bullets are components used on ROV’s (Remotely Operated Vehicles) and on TMS’ (Tether Management System) in the subsea industry. These components are used to dock or latch onto the LARS (Launch & Recovery Systems) when latching or releasing the ROV or TMS during operations.
Technicas has more than 18 years of experience with various type of ROV docking bullet designs for work class ROV systems.
Technicas’ can design and manufacture docking bullets for work class systems, specially for old ROV systems which need modifications or upgrades.
The bullets can be designed for free flying ROV’s or TMS or can be custom designed to adapt to the equipment as each TMS and LARS are different, and in some cases they are not from the same manufacturer. Made of stainless steel, alloy steel or hard anodized Aluminium, the bullets are potted with wire lock and tested before delivery.
