Sheaves are equipment used to allow a wire or rope to move over it freely and lift objects without damaging the wire or rope which would otherwise wear out due to friction or wear.
Technicas has years of experience and can design and manufacture various kinds of sheaves for harsh working environments and can meet different customer requirements.
Technicas’ has experience with sheaves rated for high loads and fleet angles and can be supplied in custom sizes and various materials. Grooves are hardened for special requirements.
Sheaves can be supplied individually or complete with the housing structure suitable for welding or bolting to any structure. Additional engineering design and FEA services can be provided for the base holding structure if required. All sheaves can be supplied with DNV, ABS or other class requirements as per request.
